Definition: According to the latest Missouri Family Wage Calculator, the wage needed for families to make ends meet in Boone County, without any public or private supports, ranges between $6.55 per hour to $31.04 per hour, depending on the presence and ages of children, the number of working adults, and whether or not employer-provided insurance is available.

Rationale: This is an indicator of economic well-being of households, as well as a predictor of households which may need supportive community resources.
